Leon is a fuzzy curious creature who sets out to discover all the senses the world has to offer, and he doesn't only stumble up on the usual five, he also discovers there is one more, a very big and important one that we all carry inside. Our emotions.

The story encourages children to recognise and trust their emotions rather than hide them, and that sometimes the answers we're looking for are already inside of us.

Leon Making Sense is my first picture book. It started when my nephew came to the world. I wanted to create something he could explore as a baby and then get deeper into as he got older. The story came to me while working on a project where I learned that so many kids suppress their emotions. Something I could recognise myself in, and had to learn to reopen as I got older (and am still working on).
